I was born and raised on a farm in Michigan, where I learned the mid-Western ethic of honesty, integrity and hard work. I brought those values with me - along with a love of the outdoors - when I moved to Colorado in 1968. I fell in love with Colorado right away and it's been my home ever since.

This is a very special place to be and I've loved living around the metro Denver area, from Washington Park to Park Hill, from the western suburbs to the foothills. I've gained the kind of knowledge and feel for the local housing market that you can only get by putting down roots and becoming part of a community.

My personal interests are quite varied. I enjoy just about anything I can do outside, including golf, hiking, biking and especially gardening. I'm a passionate interior designer and really like transforming houses into warm, welcoming homes. There are very few things I'd rather do than have friends over for a home-cooked meal and an evening of relaxing conversation.

Eight years ago I decided to build a career based on my love for people and my love for houses. Real estate seemed like a natural fit for me, and I built my business with the strong work ethic that became part of me as I grew up.

I decided I wanted to be the best possible real estate broker and always serve my clients at the highest level of professionalism. I knew that professional education was a key to success, so I attained many real estate certifications:

CRS - Credited Residential Specialist
GRI - Graduate of Real Estate Institute
LHS - Luxury Home Specialist
MRE - Masters of Real Estate
e-Pro - electronic professional
SRES - Senior Residential Specialist

I've since learned that less than 4% of brokers nationwide have all of these certifications! But the investment in education has served me - and my clients - very well. I've qualified for the Million Dollar Roundtable every year I've been in the business!

I bring lots of creative energy, a commitment to excellence, and the utmost professionalism to my clients. I believe that to have an advantage in today's real estate market you must be well informed. Communication is the key to any transaction. Whether I'm dealing with clients, another Realtor, a loan officer, an inspector or the title company, I work very hard to ensure there is a clear understanding of every aspect of the real estate transaction.
